1990-2010 - General Art studies, self-taught. In 1991 he travels to Europe (France and Germany) for the first time, where he succeeds in showing his work and collaborates with artist Jürgen Peter in Hannover (Germany). In 2000 he was invited to represent Venezuela as an artist at the Expo Hannover (Germany). In 2002 he moves to Vienna (Austria) and he starts showing his work in different countries: solo exhibition at the Museum of Art Young "Moya" Vienna (Austria), solo show at the Museum of Modern Art "Juan Astorga Anta" in Mérida (Venezuela), as well as at the Caisa Cultural Center Gallery in Helsinki (Finland), the 11th Biennial International Festival of Portrait and Figure Drawing 04 in Tuzla (Bosnia-Herzegovina), The Venezuelan Art Salon in Budapest, "Eierversum" at the Hannover Expo 2000 (Germany), and the VII National Drawing Biennial in Caracas (Venezuela). The artist feels much concern for the individual and his environment, as well as the influence colours exert on it. In recent years, MELF has also started to extend his work towards the creation of art objects, where materials such as wooden boxes, toys, and various industrial materials make up a series. At present he is developing a project related to the environment: Man and his destruction car represented in a video installation, paintings, and other media.
